Brockhampton tease new music in a mysterious video

Titled ‘Meet the Roadrunners’, the clip marks the beginning of a ‘new Brockhampton era’

The hip hop group Brockhampton appears to be teasing a new project, via a 46-second video clip shared to social media yesterday (March 10). Titled “Meet the Roadrunners”, the fresh visual features a grainy portrait of the group, seemingly soundtracked by an upcoming song.

In a subsequent Instagram story, group member Kevin Abstract has confirmed that the video marks a “new Brockhampton era”.

The Texan boy band’s last full-length release was the 2019 album Ginger, featuring singles “No Halo” and “Sugar”. In 2020, that project was followed by a collection of singles released during quarantine, titled Technical Difficulties.

Brockhampton first hinted at making a return with new material back in January, posting a short, videogame-esque visual to Instagram, which showed a cursor choosing between two text options that read: “New Light” and “Old Light”. The snippet also featured a mysterious portal, similarly seen in the newly-released video.
