slowthai shares the video for a new song featuring James Blake

Mount Kimbie also features on the new track, ‘feel away’

Since the release of his debut album Nothing Great About Britain in 2019, slowthai has shared a few new songs, including the solo tracks “ENEMY”, “MAGIC”, and “BB (BODYBAG)”, and a collaboration with Gorillaz and Slaves titled “Momentary Bliss”.

Now, slowthai is back with another single called “feel away”, which sees him link up with James Blake and Mount Kimbie. Accompanying visuals for the track, directed by Oscar Hudson, feature the rapper pregnant in a maternity ward.

In a statement posted to Instagram ahead of the release, slowthai dedicates the track to his late little brother, Michael John, writing: “I'm doing everything in my power to live for him and also make him proud.”

Watch the “feel away” visuals below, and revisit slowthai’s interview with Dazed on lockdown, his controversial incident at the NME Awards, and his forthcoming second album, here.
