BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez team up for ‘Ice Cream’

The collab, co-written by Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét, will appear on the K-pop group’s upcoming debut album

BLACKPINK have released their much-anticipated collaboration with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream”. The new song – which features songwriting credits for Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét – comes alongside appropriately bubblegum-coloured visuals.

“Ice Cream” is the second single to be released ahead of BLACKPINK’s debut full-length album –titled The Album – which was announced last month and is set to arrive October 2. The record-breaking first single, “How You Like That”, was released back in June.

Prior to the announcement of the debut album, the K-pop group released a series of EPs, such as 2019’s Kill This Love. Earlier this year, they also collaborated with Lady Gaga on her Chromatica track “Sour Candy”.

Selena Gomez, meanwhile, kicked off 2020 with her first album in five years, Rare. Revisit the pop star’s 2020 Dazed cover here, and watch the new “Ice Cream” video below.
