Released on October 2 via YG Entertainment and Interscope, the anticipated album will cap off a year which saw the K-pop group collaborate with Lady Gaga on “Sour Candy” and break YouTube’s record for the most viewed video within 24 hours with “How You Like That”. The first single for the album will land in August and will feature a mystery guest feature, though the group and their label are tight-lipped about just who that will be. The debut album follows a series of EPs including 2019’s Kill This Love, and landmark achievements since their 2016 debut like becoming the first K-pop girl group to play Coachella. Physical copies of The Album will come with goods for fans, like a photo book, a lyrics book, and more.
