Titled Something In The Air, the record is the latest in a series of new releases from the musician’s archive. Coming in at 15 tracks, Something In The Air was originally recorded live in 1999, capturing a show at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris. The same day, incidentally, Bowie was awarded France’s highest artistic honour, the Commandeurs of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The performance itself was one of seven full shows to promote his Hours album from the same year. Previously-unseen footage meant to accompany Hours was also unveiled earlier in 2020. Back in May, another live David Bowie album from 1999, LiveAndWell.com, was made widely available to stream, having previously been accessible to subscribers of the long-defunct website BowieNet. Unlike Something In The Air, LiveAndWell.com was recorded across several different shows, in New York, Amsterdam, Rio De Janeiro, and the UK. Listen to Something In The Air below.
