Grimes has given birth to her child with Elon Musk.

Musk first told his Twitter followers that the baby was due on Monday, and later updated them by saying: “Mom & baby all good.”

Grimes first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in January. While they have not yet announced a name for the child, Twitter users have been suggesting unusual names for months now, and Musk continued the joke earlier, suggesting “X Æ A-12 Musk”.

Responding to a Twitter user who said “we really need to see picture of the baby”, Musk shared a photo of the baby – albiet with mock face tattoos. When another user said “a pic of you holding the baby would break the internet ... please share one”, Musk duly shared a photo of him holding his son.

The baby is a first for Grimes, though Musk has sons from a previous marriage. The couple first revealed their relationship two years ago, at the 2018 Met Gala.
