Directed by Essie Gang collaborator Armin Druzanovic, the video features Headie One alongside OFB members Double Lz and Bandokay, the son of Mark Duggan, shot by police in 2011, a killing that sparked the London riots. Described by Druzanovic as “a fast paced and crisp new visual cooked up from the world below us”, the video sees a crew counting cash and weighing out drugs at night, with the city skyline visible through the windows behind them. Frontstreet, released on RatTrap Records, is a remarkable artistic statement and one that recently broke the Official Charts UK Top 40, hitting the heights of No.36. A ferocious, often haunting collection of drill tracks, it marks out the trio from Broadwater Farm as seriously talented storytellers. Check the new video now.
