Cardi for VP
Cardi B has been a vocal supporter of Bernie Sanders for a long time, and now she’s teamed up with the presidential candidate for a new campaign video. The rapper joined Sanders at Detroit’s TEN Nail Bar, a local nail salon owned by two black women, to discuss student debut, climate change, and minimum wage, according to CNN.
“A couple of weeks ago I asked my followers if you had the opportunity to have a question answered by a democratic candidate what would it be?” Cardi wrote on Instagram. “I got a lot of submission and selected the most popular questions to get answered. Stay tuned to see how he will fight for economic, racial, and social justice for all.”
The video, which is yet to be released, was made to encourage young people to “get involved in the political process”, Sanders told CNN. “The future of America depends on young people. They are voting in large numbers, but not large enough numbers,” he added.
I been reading about Bernie Sanders and I’m really sad how we let him down in 2016 This man been fighting for equal rights,HUMAN rights for such along time.Seeing this country become a better place been really his passion for a long time not a new front for a campaign.

Sanders previously praised Cardi B on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. “We have talked on the phone on several occasions,” he said. “She is really smart, and she is deeply concerned about what’s happening in this country... She comes from a humble background. She knows what it’s like to live in poverty, to struggle, and she wants to make sure we can improve life for working people, and I’m delighted that she’s a supporter.”
Sanders is one of the many candidates running for President in the incredibly bloated Democrat field, but – let’s be honest – he’s the only one with the record to show that he’s up for the job.
Bernie/Cardi 2020, baby. Bring it on.
Today @iamcardib and I finally met. We had a great conversation about the future of America.
