The biggest teaser, though, was an Instagram post of the band – Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss – with St. Vincent in the studio earlier this year. It’s now been revealed that the singer was producing a whole album with them, the forthcoming The Center Won’t Hold. The new album will be out August 16, released on Mom + Pop, and will be their first since the 2015 record No Cities To Love. If you can’t wait that long for new music though, Sleater-Kinney have got you covered.
