The video, posted by a teacher from the Ohio school, saw the students dancing and singing along to the yeehaw agenda smash hit to celebrate the end of their yearly talent show – it was then later picked up by the Atlanta rapper, real name Montero Lamar Hill, who organised the guerrilla gig. I love my job. We ended our 5th grade talent show today with the whole school dancing and celebrating...together!! #LanderLove🐾💚 @LanderElem@LilNasX 💃🏽🤠 pic.twitter.com/pzS1id79mu— Felecia Evans (@EduLeadingLady) May 23, 2019 As the Dazed 100er took to the stage, the young students can be seen screaming and jumping up and down in excitement, hitting the beats and tune word-for-word. “My life is a movie, Bull ridin’ and boobies”. It might not be totally PG, but it’s still a pretty wholesome scene. “I saw y’all video, and I knew I had to come,” he told them. Lil Nas X then throws teddies into the crowd, and there’s an ensuing scrum. The principal of the school Felecia Evens expressed her grattitude in local news outlet WKYC: “This has been unbelievable to see the response, We are so grateful for everyone to see how much joy and energy our students have, we have a great school and awesome students.” Mayfield school district superintendent Keith Kelly thanked Lil Nas X, adding that it would “make a great memory for the kids”. The country-trap rapper himself called it “The biggest show of my life”.
