We don’t know the title yet, but the record will be the singer’s first LP, following up his 2017 EP Steve Lacy’s Demo. That’s not to say that Lacy hasn’t been busy in-between. In 2018 he released Hive Mind, The Internet’s fourth studio album. He also collaborated with an impressive roster of artists, including Kali Uchis – on the brilliant “Just A Stranger” – Solange, Dev Hynes, and Mac Miller. So far in 2019, Steve Lacy has been credited for production on two tracks from Solange’s When I Get Home album and featured in the Vampire Weekend song/video, “Sunflower”. The new album is slated to release May 24. Listen to the first single, “N Side”, here. Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
