Today, though, there’s news that there’s a Prince memoir on the way. Titled The Beautiful Ones, the book is slated for an October 29 release (though it was announced back in 2016) and will be published by Random House. Apparently it will feature new photos, scrapbooks, and hand-written lyrics. What’s more, 50 pages of memoir – penned by Prince himself before he passed away – will be included, presumably providing a fairly intimate insight into the life of the pop icon. It’s a “deeply personal account of how Prince Rogers Nelson became the Prince we know,” say Random House: “the real-time story of a kid absorbing the world around him and creating a persona, an artistic vision, and a life, before the hits and the fame that would come to define him.” Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREAn interview with IC3PEAK, the band Putin couldn’t silenceFrost Children answer the dA-Zed quizThe 5 best features from PinkPantheress’ new remix albumMoses Ideka is making pagan synth-folk from the heart of south LondonBehind-the-scenes at Oklou and FKA twigs’ new video shootBjörk calls for the release of musician ‘kidnapped’ by Israeli authorities‘Her dumbest album yet’: Are Swifties turning on Taylor Swift?IB Kamara on branching out into musicEnter the K-Bass: How SCR revolutionised Korean club culture‘Comic Con meets underground rap’: Photos from Eastern Margins’ day festWho are H.LLS?
