Jaden Smith drops a surprise EP

At just three tracks, Erys Is Coming is short and sweet

Jaden Smith released a surprise EP on Friday (April 19), titled Erys Is Coming. The release came on the same day as his huge set at the second week of Coachella, where he brought out his dad – as in, Will Smith – to perform “Icon”.

The new EP is only three tracks long and features a familiar sound, with Smith’s autotuned rapping. The second track, “Beautiful Disruption”, is a bit heavier than average, though. (If you hadn’t noticed, the title of the record also features an inversion of Jaden Smith’s earlier album title, Syre.)

Besides Erys Is Coming, Jaden Smith also released a standalone single with a video titled “SOHO” last week (April 12), which borrows visuals from 2018’s “Plastic”.
