In a new video produced by Molten Jets, Archy Marshall falls asleep at home only to wake up dressed in full astronaut gear in a lunar landscape, where he then performs eight tracks from his most recent album The OOZ. It’s a perfect fit too – the dreamlike visuals perfectly with the chilled-out vibes of “Midnight 01 (Deep Sea Diver)” and “The Cadet Leaps”. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen King Krule’s love of outer space. His 2013 debut LP was titled 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, while both the visuals and lyrics of The OOZ are laced with references to all things cosmic. Seems like his fixation of floating off into space is still going strong and he looks right at home hanging out on the moon. The video comes alongside its own lunar website, oozdelalune.com, where you can watch the set, check out brand new merch, and browse the “sightings” of King Krule’s expedition taken from his sky-devoted Instagram.
