The Canadian artist has crafted but “not heavily curated” each playlist to match her mood around the house. Titled: Depression, Musiq 4 Drawing, Just A Rat In A Cage, Bopsz? and Playing Bloodbourne as a soundtrack to her adventures on the role-playing video game, all of the above feature tracks from the likes of Princess Nokia, Lana Del Ray, Enya, The Prodigy and FKA Twigs. Thanks to these tracks we now know that Grimes likes to listen to “The Weekend” by SZA while she draws, whereas “Angels of Porn” by Nicole Dollanganger can be for drawing or your most depressed moments. This isn’t the first time that Grimes has released a playlist having released an Autumn playlist in October devoted to a new genre she named Faé. Escape the algorithm!
