Writing on Instagram, the Caracas-born producer revealed that he would be shooting in London next month. Although few other details about the project were provided, he confirmed that it would involve director and frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda. “Jesse and I are shooting somethin in London this December and are looking for allies,” the producer wrote yesterday (November 28). He added that any keen applicants would have to be “comfortable being partially nude on camera”. It’s likely that the project will be tied to Arca’s third full-length album, Reverie, which was announced back in February. At the time, the producer confirmed that the record – which is yet to be released – would drop in 2016. In a follow-up tweet posted in July, he assured fans that the album “will come out this year”, and thanked them for being patient.
