The “Big Big Beat” rapper made the claims after attending a party at the actor’s hotel on Saturday evening (October 15). “To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell Crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n*gger, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” she wrote on Facebook yesterday. “The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today.” Banks added that she felt “weak as fuck” and wanted “to die” following the incident. “(I) just feel so low and mishandled and alone and fucking depressed right now,” she continued. “I wish I had someone to beat him up for me.” The alleged altercation reportedly took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel, after Crowe invited guests to his room to listen to music. According to reports on gossip site TMZ, Banks was brought along by rapper RZA, but began behaving “erratically” after she grew tired of the music and the “boring white men”. She then apparently threatened Crowe, who remained “surprisingly calm” and had her thrown out of the suite. Neither Crowe nor Banks have offered any further explanation on the incident, though the rapper has since deleted all accusatory Facebook posts. via FacebookExpand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREListen to our shadowy Dazed Winter 2025 playlist7 of Chase Infiniti’s favourite K-pop tracks Jean Paul GaultierJean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Le Male is the gift that keeps on givingMeet The Deep, K-pop’s antihero ‘This is our Nirvana!’: Are Geese Gen Z’s first great rock band?10 of Yung Lean’s best collabs‘We’re like brother and sister’: Yung Lean and Charli xcx in conversationIs art finally getting challenging again? The only tracks you need to hear from November 2025Inside the world of Amore, Spain’s latest rising starLella Fadda is blazing a trail in the Egyptian music sceneThe rise of Sweden’s post-pop underground
