The simple five-minute clip features Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood in a dimly lit room, playing two guitars and a Roland CR-78. It premiered at last night’s Mercury Music Prize ceremony, where the group were up for an award for their most recent album, A Moon Shaped Pool. “Present Tense” is the second Radiohead video to be shot by Anderson. Earlier this year, he directed the album’s second single, “Daydreaming”. He has also used Greenwood for a number of his own projects, recruiting the guitarist as a soundtrack composer for his films There Will Be Blood, The Master, and Inherent Vice.
