Now the wait is over. Although album You and I is not being released until March 11, the album is now available for streaming online via NPR. The 10-track collection includes both covers and original material, and on first listening it’s exactly what we’d hoped for – haunting, poetic, perfectly timeless. You and I includes covers from The Smiths ‘“The Boy With The Thorn In His Side” and Led Zeppelin’s “Night Flight”, and early versions of what would go on to be signature tracks "Grace" and "You and I". Buckley recorded the compilation of demos and covers to show producers what sound he was hoping for ahead of his first, legendary album Grace. We know we’ll be listening to it on repeat today – stream it in the player below. Happy Thursday.
