Music / NewsRihanna is apparently only hot because she’s ‘not too dark’An executive at Riri’s financial firm is facing a lawsuit because of alleged racist and sexist remarks. Not goodShareLink copied ✔️September 23, 2015MusicNewsTextDominique Sisley According to some pretty gross new allegations, an executive at Rihanna's financial firm called the singer hot – but only because she's “not too dark”. Robert Solomon, an ex-employee at the New York-based Flynn Family Office, has brought forward the accusations after allegedly being fired for objecting to the constant sexist and racist remarks. And, according to reports in the New York Post, it was firm partner Alan Kufeld who was the main offender. Solomon claims that Kufeld would regularly point out women's levels of attractiveness, as well as the colour of their skin. One example put forward says that Kufeld made a remark about Rihanna being “not too dark” while talking about which Caribbean nationalities were the most attractive. He also apparently said that one of the assistants working at the firm “lost points in his eyes because she was too dark.” I'm sure she'll be devastated. And there's more – Mr Flynn himself was also accused of making comments on another woman in the office, saying he wanted to “fuck her” once she left the job. So cute <3 “It's ironic and disturbing that an organisation that sought high-profile women as clients would have such a sexist and misogynistic culture,” Mr Solomon's lawyer Walker Harman told the New York Post. What's also ironic is that the video for “Bitch Better Have My Money” was all about Rihanna brutally murdering her last accountant – so maybe they should all keep that in mind. According to Mr Flynn though, none of these claims are true, and he plans to be setting up a major defense. “We at FFO have always championed the rights of women and minorities, particularly in the workplace.” Hmmmok.
