To mark the occasion, we're celebrating all things with a project crafted by music legend Chimpo, premiering here exclusively on Dazed. Record producer, DJ and MC Chimpo grew up in the urban suburbs of Manchester as a music-obsessed kid whose aural fixation began by stealing his mum’s compilation discs. Proud of his Northern roots, the multidisciplinary is a breaker of boundaries, fusing a multitude of genres – grime, drum ’n‘ bass, dubstep, garage, dancehall and hip-hop – to produce a playful collision of unique sounds.
