Now, from Brooklyn director Lily X, here's that record's second video, for woozy tropicalia ballad "Empire". The video sways from louche cocktail bar vibes to Eastern mystic visions, with Savage's pleading croon growing ever more impassioned as a dreamy mermaid sings him to the waves. "It is also about trusting that the painful moments of your life can be doorways into infinity," Lily X tells Dazed. "In the video Sean’s character is drugged and follows a drag queen into the back of a Chinese restaurant, yet what he finds there is spirit and infinity, a mystical experience, a spell of love."
