LA vinyl emporium Amoeba Music are opening shop at Dazed today with their guest edit dedicated to sharing their indie music expertise. On the racks are a Tijuana Panthers interview, exclusive Cherry Glazerr video, as well as mixes and selections from the music-mad staff over at Amoeba. Cherry Glazerr are the young smoking guns of the sun-drenched, scuzz-tinged Los Angeles guitar scene – formed when 17 year old Clementine Creevy (vocals and guitar) and Hannah Uribe (drums) teamed up with bass player Sean Redman. With a Saint Laurent soundtrack and debut album (Haxel Princess) under their belts, the trio have popped their cherries on both sides of the pond. Back home in LA, Amoeba Music let them go on an in-store shopping spree, and Dazed have got the first look at their haul. Watch the video premiere, below, to discover the rockers' often suprising musical influences: from Iggy Pop to Wes Anderson, plus a bevy of French Yé-yé singers that make the Franco-American relations demonstrated in their Slimane collaboration make so much more sense.
