His first outing was the stunning A Moot Point EP on Talabot’s Hivern Discs label, and he has since reworked the likes of How To Dress Well’s "& It Was U" and The xx’s "Chained". He toured with Talabot alongside the latter – a perfect fit given Barros’s soft bittersweet vocals, emotive piano keys and distorted drum machines. His new Invisible Amenaza EP, lands on cult label Young Turks (FKA Twigs, Sampha), and collects four tracks of his signature melancholic pop vocals and slow disco-influenced house jams. Translating as ‘invisible threat’, it showcases his taste for dark nostalgic sounds and a unique ear for melody on his vocal-led pieces. We can't wait to hear more.
