Yesterday, NTS doled out a double hit of Summer Season treats with performances from Nite Jewel and Kelela. After 2012’s ‘One Second Of Love’ on Secretly Canadian, Nite Jewel has been touring the West Coast with Shlohmo and now, Bat For Lashes, also recently re-stoking the Nite-Funk flames with the release of her latest Dam-Funk collab “I Know You’re The One For Me”. Here she plays us two solid hours of sweet, sweet electro and performs some brand-new, unheard tracks for good measure. 

Fresh from a strong LA Boiler Room session and the small matter of opening for Solange on her US tour, Kelela swung by with some top-secret (shhh) friends. Linked to Night Slugs's sister label, Fade To Mind and with only one official single, ‘Bank Head’, think of this as a tasty little Kelela appetiser before her mixtape's release later this summer.
