24-year old Jacques Greene has carved out a niche as a maestro of the analogue dance sound. His hybrid R&B to house and techno experimentations evoke the sensuality while retaining the groove with a technical skill recent pop-dance producers can only dream of. He was praised for the lead single "On Your Side", the title track of his EP released on LuckyMe. Exploring genres ever further, his second single "Faithful" is an upbeat, deftly-crafted visual deluge directed, shot and filmed by TRUSST. The concept involved iPhone and Mini DV shot models acting out a series of emotions. The LuckyMe Arts production uses a Gospel-inflected hook from Maryland singer Oliver Day-Soul. Already cited as influence to contemporaries Julio Bashmore and Disclosure, the Montreal native stays at the edge of his game.
