Co-produced with Toby Kidd of London band Hatcham Social, founding member of The Jesus and Mary Chain and music video & film director Douglas Hart's debut solo record 'X Film Plus Ultra’ arrives this spring on specialist label Blank Editions. The song is accompanied by the adventurous b-side ‘Pre-Paradise (Memories Of The Future)’, made up of various field recordings from around the world - including the Kiev Opera house in the Ukraine and a crowded bar in Park City Utah, USA, to snippets of noise from short-wave transistor radios in France, Slovakia and the UK. Acting as a snapshot of his travels to film festivals around the world promoting his short ‘Long Distance Information’, Hart's record will be released on Blank Editions as they continue their Solo Series of seven inch releases - set up by artist & video director David Blanco and author & publisher Will Shutes.
