Ahead of the 'Dazed TV: The Party' premiere this Sunday, we offer you a mixtape from the Parisian superclub
The first episode of 'Dazed TV: The Party', Dazed & Confused's new live entertainment show, will premiere on Sunday, 2 October, 2011, on Dazed TV. Filmed two weeks ago at photographer Rankin's Kentish Town studio, the party kicked off with live performances from London band S.C.U.M and Japanese rockers Bo Ningen before US rapper Kreayshawn and Parisian Le Baron resident DJs Sunshine and Monzieur Moru finally took to the stage. To start off the countdown to the Dazed TV screening of the party, Dazed Digital here offers you an exclusive mixtape by DJ Peter Pan, Baron resident and member of Tete D'Affiche Agency Paris.
Opened in 2004, Le Baron is the intimate Paris night club opened in a former brothel by French cultural provocateur and graffiti artist André also known as Mr A. Having become the favourite destination for the Parisian art and fashion world, Le Baron has since opened in Tokyo and is now landing the Mayfair institution Embassy in London. Focusing on bringing back the essence of the party Le Baron has announced the return of Absinthe, live band Karaoke, weekly French DJ residents and a live band radio station. Here we catch up with André, the creative hotel/restaurant/club owner who - since being appointed the new creative director of L’Official Hommes - also has a hand in the magazine market, to get the lowdown on all his favourite things...
