Last year, Dazed launched the Dazed Club app, a free, community-driven platform for young and emerging creatives to connect, collaborate, and share their work. Since then, it’s become home to a thriving community of over 15,000 users, primed to become the next-generation of cultural talent.

Now, the network is set to expand even further, as the Dazed Club app officially launches on Google Play. With Android accounting for more than 70 per cent of global mobile users, this represents a huge milestone for the community, as it opens up to Dazed’s global audience of 18 to 25-year-olds, wherever they are.

“Our mission has always been to build a truly global creative network, and with Android powering the majority of devices worldwide, this launch makes that vision a reality,” says Jack Sunnucks, creative director of Dazed Club. “We’re breaking down barriers to entry. Now, any young creative, anywhere in the world, can join this community, connect with collaborators, access life-changing opportunities, and make their mark.”

In case you haven’t had a chance to check out what the app offers yet, it revolves around a few key features: connecting with like-minded creatives, showcasing your work, unlocking access to industry professionals and project briefs, and finding new opportunities from free events, to paid jobs and creative grants.

In the past year alone, this has included a number of exclusive opportunities, in partnership with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Nike, Puma, Samsung, Spotify and Red Bull Racing, as well as institutions like Central Saint Martins, Manchester Met, Goldsmiths, and Istituto Marangoni. Dazed Club’s How I Became series has tapped insider knowledge from the likes of Jawara Alleyne, Alexander Fury, Anna Meacham, Imruh Asha and Katie Grand, while galleries, cinemas, and festivals across London have opened their doors exclusively to its members.

Want to get involved? The Dazed Club app is available to download for free now on the App Store and Google Play. Join the future of creativity.
