In case you missed it, here’s what went down. IT TOOK PLACE IN A DISUSED CAR GARAGE The event brought together figures from London’s fashion, art and nightlife scenes. Guests included model Daisy Maybe and Gigi Hari, and designers Conner Ives and Michaela Stark, who arrived at the industrial Unit 58 in Tottenham – a disused car garage-turned-nightclub. In keeping with the motor theme, Dazed x Engine Gin 80s racing-inspired posters plastered the walls, while blue and red lighting filled the room. There was even a bathtub filled with Engine Gin’s signature aluminium gin canisters, where a guest or two were spotted diving in – but you didn’t hear that from us. GUESTS NECKED ENGINE GIN COCKTAILS IN THEIR GALLONS The night’s drinks were provided by Engine Gin. Guests sipped on the brand’s organic, distilled dry gin cocktails, which are produced in small batches with Italian ingredients, from sage and rose petals to Sicilian lemons and Alpine water. The cocktails featured imaginative names ranging from Nirtoni to Engine GT, a Ginger Engine and an Engine Slin – deliziosa! Playing into the early hours of the morning, the music was a heady mix of pummeling techno cuts, high-speed electro and melodic trance. Giving her stamp of approval was London born-and-raised DJ Sherelle, who was spotted front left, naturally, as well as models Caleb Frempong and Finn Buchanan. ... AND A LOT OF DANCING Guests packed out the dancefloor as special guest hosts Darkwah and Virgin X invited 30 performance artists and collaborators from trans model agency WIMP to take over the podiums and risers.
