The three-day event takes place in Shoreditch from June 24 to 26 and the full line up has just been announced

Missed out on early bird tickets to our Whitby Street Takeover with Burberry? Don’t make any new plans just yet! The full programme and another ticket release just dropped, so be sure to sign up here for your chance to admire Kai Isaiah-Jamal’s words up close via a collaborative mural with Jota Mombaça, get a fresh trim at Nat the Barber’s pop-up, or discover a new Queer Black creative at the temporary PRIM library space.

Taking place over three days from June 24 to 26, the Whitby Street Takeover will see a screen printing workshop, a coffee shop, and a community garden pop up across the weekend for moments of creativity, clarity and calm as required, soundtracked throughout by Skinny Macho’s musical picks. But that’s not all…

On Friday, multidisciplinary artist and florist William Farr – see also: founder of Cereus Nights and AnOther fave – will host a workshop creating floral arrangements using found objects while dishing out advice on foraging and making boundary-breaking bouquets. Fenn O’Mealley’s Film Club follows, as the director, journalist and BBC1Xtra DJ premieres a new project before answering any and all questions you might have about working in the industry.

Arrive early on Saturday to secure a free copy of Dazed’s summer issue, then stick around for The Burberry x Dazed Career Sofa Sessions: think speed dating but you’re talking all things #career, and instead of a perfect partner you’re thinking of ways of make someone from Dazed or Burberry your next mentor. Trans+ talent agency WIMP will host a movement therapy session later in the afternoon, led by Darkwah and Virgin X, as Manchester’s Prestige Pak close the day, bringing the club to Whitby Street.

Dazed’s Izzy Farmiloe will kick things off with Me, Myself & My Avatar, discussing the impact of the metaverse on creating our visual identities with Burberry’s global vice president of channel innovation Rachel Waller and Dazed content editor Vanessa Hsieh and friends.

Interested in curating your own library? Prim founder and curator K Bailey Obazee will host What it Means to be a Collector and a Curator, joined by Flock Together and Futureimpose’s Ollie Olanipekun. Bored of your hair’s current, um, situation? Beauty School with Taiba sees top braider and CEO of Keash London Taiba Akhuetie talking all things extensions, kiss curls, hair rings and more. Mischa Mafia – PDA co-founder and Dazed casting director – will conclude the weekend’s proceedings with one of her iconic DJ sets, joined by friend and musician Hasani who’ll perform live.

You can now sign up here for your chance to attend.

The Whitby Street Takeover will be open Friday 1PM - 5PM and Saturday and Sunday 11AM - 6PM.
