On Thursday, Uzoka was pronounced dead at the scene in Shepherd’s Bush after suffering from stab wounds in what was described as a robbery gone wrong. After arrests on January 14 and 15, it has now been confirmed that 23-year-old Jonathan Okigbo and 24-year-old George Koh are being charged with Uzoka’s murder. Koh is also a model and has walked in shows at fashion weeks in London, Milan and Paris as well as featuring in magazine editorials. Two others were also arrested with one being released with no further action and another still being investigated. In addition to the murder charges, Koh has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Both have been remanded in custody, due to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday. Following Uzoka’s death, tributes came from those who knew him within the industry, including models Jourdan Dunn and Leomie Anderson as well as MNEK.
