Two conspiracy theorists (Plemons and Aidan Delbis) kidnap a high-powered CEO (Stone), convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth (you may have already seen photos of Stone looking bald in a basement). We’re now hearing Oscar rumblings for Lanthimos and Stone’s fifth (!) collaboration, following their work together on The Favourite, Poor Things, Kinds of Kindness, and the 16mm black-and-white silent short film Bleat. Lanthimos, Stone and Plemons started the film with a personal message for the 150 Dazed Clubbers in attendance at Curzon Cinema in Bloomsbury, replete with drinks and popcorn. Dazed Club member and photographer Connie Burke was there to capture the evening – check out the photos below. Bugonia is out in cinemas now.
