Lily James (of Baby Driver and Little Woods) is virtually unrecognisable as Pamela Anderson, starring across from Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan as a pretty convincing Tommy Lee. Sharing separate images to their respective Instagrams, the pair also appear together in a recreation of the infamous photo that shows Pamela biting Tommy’s nipple ring. Seth Rogen also stars as Rand Gauthier (AKA the man that stole and leaked Anderson and Lee’s sex tape). “My co-stars, Sebastian and Lily, are a lot cooler than I am,” he writes in a tweet, beside a photo of his own costume, which involves an oversized pair of denim shorts. Pam & Tommy will revolve around the sex tape from the Baywatch star and Mötley Crüe drummer’s honeymoon — described in a statement as: “the first ever viral video in history” — as well as their relationship, which saw them get married less than a week after they met in 1995. Neither Anderson nor Lee are involved in the limited comedy series, Variety reports. Craig Gillespie (the filmmaker behind I, Tonya) will direct, with Dave Franco on board as an executive producer. A release date is yet to be confirmed. Pamela Anderson herself is set to star, alongside Paris Hilton and Sky Ferreira, in the upcoming, pandemic-inspired thriller 18 & Over.
