Killing Eve season three

Villanelle is back as Killing Eve season 3 lands way sooner than expected

Because we all need a little help killing time in isolation (sorry)

Good news for fans not just of wild crime drama Killing Eve but also anyone who’s running out of things to watch as many of us enter our third or fourth week of isolation (hi!), as the BBC announces plans to bring the release of season three all the way forward to April 12 (USA) and April 13 (UK).

As seen in a new trailer which dropped over the weekend, Villanelle, played by Jodie Comer, is back to her berserk best, as she begins trying to navigate life after Eve (Sandra Oh), after she (spoiler!) shot her in the final episode of season two. Unsurprisingly for anyone who saw said episode, however, it turns out Eve isn’t quite as dead as her killer believes.

Naturally, though the trailer is just over a minute long, there are plenty of lewks to take in courtesy of our anti-hero. This time around, while frou-frou dresses care of Molly Goddard and tongue-in-cheek Undercover baseball caps are notably absent, Villanelle is seen in a floral dress which is more than a little influencer-at-Coachella, a pair of denim dungarees, and a stand-out clown costume.

Set a reminder for April 13 and watch the full trailer below.
