Watch the trailer for the new Black Mirror

Bandersnatch is coming tomorrow

Yesterday (December 26), new details and a photo from the upcoming Black Mirror episode, “Bandersnatch” emerged, confirming Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter, and Asim Chaudhry as cast members. Today, though, we’ve been offered even more, in the form of an official trailer.

The trailer stars Whitehead as one of a few pill-popping young programmers, who “begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game”. The trailer’s description also confirms the 80s setting rumoured by fans, saying the action takes place in 1984 (the year Bandersnatch the game was developed).

As for the music in the clip, there’s some spooky Stranger Things-esque synth to be heard, alongside the timely “Relax” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

It’s all pretty exciting and, what’s more, we don’t even have to wait long. Black Mirror’s latest iteration will release tomorrow (December 28) on Netflix.
