Netflix has just announced that your favourite spellbinding series, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has been renewed for a third and fourth season. Production of the 16-episode occult reboot will begin next year, “and the next batch will air in two parts: Parts 3 & 4”, Netflix tweeted yesterday. Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told The Wrap that he's grateful for his band of co-producers “for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch”. Aguirre-Scasa isn't alone in being thrilled about the spooky news. Kiernan Shipka, who plays the female lead Sabrina, ‘grammed that the cast is similarly stoked. While the future plotline for the series is under wraps, we can only hope that Sabrina tries to keep herself out of trouble (and purgatory) and that her and Harvey sort out their relationship woes. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shipka hinted that the young love may be over for good. But if that goes belly-up, we'll be satisfied with ‘Brina continuing to pull fabulously goth looks while navigating the Path of Night and the Dark Lord's demons. The news of the two new series comes days after the CAOS Christmas Special, A Midwinters Tale, aired on December 14 on Netflix.
