Film & TV / NewsFilm & TV / NewsStranger Things is back with a puzzling teaser for its third season‘In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues’ShareLink copied ✔️December 10, 2018December 10, 2018TextAngela Skujins A new Stranger Things teaser for the third season has just dropped, and it’s keeping things a bit cryptic. While also releasing impending video game which coincides with the series opener (the Duffer brothers have been busy), the nostalgic, thrilling Netflix programme has offered up a short 52-second clip of the third season on Twitter. While the teaser doesn’t reveal too much about the forthcoming series and its plot, it does give us some interesting episode titles: “Suzie Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt”. As the Stranger Things logo glows ominously in red, and we hear the Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon theme song build climatically in the background, a lot is left for interpretation. There hasn’t been complete radio silence from the television series about the next season. In July, an 80s-recalling, washed-out advertisement for a mall in Hawkins, Indiana was posted. Variety believes that this season could be plagued by a new corporate menace coming to town in the form of Starcourt Industries, the mall’s developer, and form part of the main plot. That could mean some new villains that aren’t terrifying creatures from the Upside Down. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year. They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town! It’s ridiculous!” The third season is expected to drop on Netflix sometime in summer 2019. Escape the algorithm!
