Titled Stranger Things 3: The Game, it will follow the events of the show’s upcoming third season. It has been described as a “meticulously crafted Action Adventure RPG that pays homage to the 16-bit era,” which is appropriate, since this was an era that began in the 80s, the decade that defines the Stranger Things style. Netflix are developing the game with indie game developers Bonus XP. It will be available across pretty much all platforms and will feature cooperative play, meaning a chance to team up with a friend as some of the Duffer brothers’ beloved characters.
