The show, which is a reboot of the original Bravo series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, has won over audiences in its first two seasons, with its emotional approach to the reality makeover genre. The third season has just launched into production in Kansas City, Missouri, with all five co-hosts returning. The hosts, otherwise known as the Fab 5 – Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Tan France – have each received praise in their own right. Antoni, the resident food and wine expert, also has a cookbook and a fast-casual food restaurant in the works. Previously Queer Eye went to Georgia, with the group helping Tammye, a teacher and cancer survivor, and Skyler, a transgender man. Each episode is heart-rending and honest, and not without the famous sass. The show’s Emmy nominations include outstanding structured reality program and casting, as well as noms in picture editing and cinematography. The third season of Queer Eye will arrive on Netflix in 2019. We know you can’t wait that long, so you can revisit Jonathan Van Ness’s tips on how to love yourself here. You’re welcome.
