Jean Charles de Castelbajac presents ‘Pirates, Parrots and Paradise’ for his Spring/Summer 2010 collection. A blend of style and cultures influences the clothing moves from a formal palette of white and navy into a style frenzy of colour, print and embellishment. The show’s story imagines sailors attacked by pirates before arriving in Tahiti and being greeted by the natives. The men’s collection combines traditional menswear and a splash of humour. Suiting, knitwear and t-shirts have nautical detailing, graphic imagery and wild tropical prints.
