Branquinho's own label shuttering may have prompted this first showing of Delvaux in Paris. Yes, that's a physical show of bags. It worked a treat to have well-executed bags held by models trussed in specifically made jackets by Maison Scabal, mostly belted by Delvaux and also accessorised by visors and gloves. The shapes of Delvaux are classic but not without contemporary relevance considering the pared back mood we're experiencing. There was nothing epic about the whole affair but Delvaux' particular brand of quiet elegance was driven forward into the 21st century into a new context courtesy of Branquinho.
