Plus: all the other news you missed this weekShareLink copied ✔️May 1, 2026May 1, 2026Text Isobel Van Dyke It’s no secret that Formula One is soaring in popularity. Thanks to Netflix’s Drive to Survive and last year’s (questionably) Oscar-nominated F1 movie, the motorsport’s fandom is growing at an exponential rate – and the fashion world is taking note. Earlier this year, at Demna’s extravagant Gucci debut in Milan, 19-year-old Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli sat front row alongside the likes of EsDeeKid and Nadia Lee Cohen. We’re used to seeing Lewis Hamilton at fashion shows, but now, the next generation of drivers are following in his footsteps. As for the race calendar, fashion steps it up a notch with every Grand Prix. For 2026, Louis Vuitton has customised 24 trunks for every race, each designed specifically to reflect the identity of the host city. Back in March, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas Originals’ lovechild Y-3 debuted its new Mercedes kit at the Japanese Grand Prix, not long after Gentle Monster and Disney linked up with F1 to launch a collection of eyewear. Nahmias x Formula OneCourtesy of Nahmias Ahead of Miami this weekend, Manon (formerly of Katseye) is at the track already and being driven around by Cadillac driver Checo Pérez, while wearing Tommy Hilfiger. She also seems to be teasing a collab with Ray-Ban at the same time. Elsewhere, a new partnership between Brioni and Formula One team Alpine has been announced, not to mention Lewis Hamilton’s latest outfit-of-the-day – the Ferrari driver stepped out yesterday in new season Saint Laurent, fresh off the runway. Then there’s Nahmias, the LA-based skate brand known for designing the viral Marty Supreme jacket, which has officially swapped ping pong for motorsport. The brand’s founder and creative director, Doni Nahmias, just unveiled an F1 collaboration which will be available online and at an IRL pop-up on race day. Naturally, former racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart fronts the campaign, and if the success of the A24 collection is anything to go by, you should get it while you can. Here at Dazed, we picked the looks we’d like to see hit the Met steps on Monday night, plus we caught up with Kylie Minogue in an exclusive interview about working with Jonathan Anderson. Here’s everything else you missed… LOUIS VUITTON MEETS J-HOPE Louis Vuitton Buttersoft trainersCourtesy of Louis Vuitton For Louis Vuitton’s latest move, the French heritage house has teamed up with South Korean rapper j-hope on the new Buttersoft trainers. The shoes’ bubblegum pink shade is inspired by the early 00s and were originally designed for j-hope himself to wear on tour. Available now, here. PUMA HOSTS AFTERNOON TEA PUMA launches the Speedcat MuleCourtesy of PUMA Yesterday evening (April 30), PUMA hosted an intimate afternoon tea, cake and cocktail event to celebrate the launch of its new Speedcat Mule – a shoe we’re sure to be seeing a lot of this summer. If last year was all about the ballet flat, this summer is all about the ballet-mule. ALAÏA TAKES THAILAND Alaïa opens in ThailandCourtesy of Alaïa There’s a big question looming over Alaïa right now: who will replace Pieter Mulier as the brand’s creative director? We’ll have to wait to find out, but in the meantime, they’re keeping us busy and distracted with the opening of the latest Alaïa boutique in Bangkok – its first in Thailand. OLIVIA RODRIGO DESIGNS FOOTBALL KITS NOW Olivia Rodrigo x FC BarcelonaCourtesy of Spotify Later this month, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will go head-to-head at El Clásico, the most intense game in Spanish football. Last year, in collaboration with Spotify, Travis Scott designed the kits for FC Barcelona; this year, it’s Olivia Rodrigo’s turn. Escape the algorithm!
