Francesc Planes: Milan Fashion Week AW25 Francesc Planes is no stranger to a fashion week. The Spanish photographer has been snapping stars at glitzy events for years, from the front row to behind the scenes and much, much more. This past Milan Fashion Week, Marni presented its AW25 collection in the Italian city, and creative director Francesco Risso convened everyone inside the brand’s headquarters for an electric catwalk of kaleidoscopic looks. Even bolder though, was the afterparty, where Planes was on hand to capture all the best looks from the night. After a star turn on the Marni catwalk, actor Tracee Ellis Ross swapped out her bright yellow runway look for a floral gown and powder blue overcoat, while Paloma Elsesser went for a tomato red Comme des Garçons wrap top. Elsewhere, fellow model Edie Campbell winked at the camera while tucking into some pasta (when in Milan, after all), the artist SOLDIER rocked up in a snakeskin trench coat buttoned to the top, while Dev Hynes went incognito in a battered leather jacket and baseball cap. The whole gang were there at Risso’s house to celebrate a collab between the Marni creative director, SOLDIER and Slawn, with all three coming together for an exhibition of their work called The Pink Sun.
