Whether you’re a photographer, creative director, stylist, or designer, that first step is often the hardest to take. Enter: the Graduate Fashion Foundation, which has brought back its Fashion Accelerator Programme for a second iteration. The ten-month mentorship programme is designed to support a new generation of young fashion creatives from underrepresented backgrounds, providing all the tools, mentorship, and exposure they need to kickstart their career. Early-stage fashion entrepreneurs across all disciplines are encouraged to apply, from photographers, designers, and stylists, to creative directors and digital media experts. What does that actually mean? Well, successful applicants will gain access to expert mentorship from leading industry professionals (including members of the Dazed team) as well as skill-based seminars on the less talked-about parts of building a fashion business, including branding, marketing, financial management, and intellectual property. There will also be opportunities to showcase work at Graduate Fashion Week 2025, alongside networking events, plus insightful panels and studio tours. Think you’ve got what it takes? The Fashion Accelerator Programme is open to creatives and young fashion talent in the early stages of their careers, who graduated with a BA degree from a GFF Member University between 2015-2024. Applications open today (February 18) and will close on April 11, 2025. Apply via the form here. Escape the algorithm!
