Met Gala 2024: The best, worst, and most interesting looks of the year

The Met Gala – AKA the most glittering, glam night on the fashion calendar – is here again, with Anna Wintour’s approved guestlist of celebs making their way up the Metropolitan Museum’s hallowed steps decked out in some of the biggest designers in the world right now.

In case you missed the theme, tonight’s event takes inspiration from JG Ballard’s novel The Garden of Time, which, if you’re not familiar, sees the mega rich holed away in their gilded mansions while the poor riot outside… which seems a bit nuts given the state of the world, but that’s showbiz, baby!!!
