Y2-Slay: Style snaps from Namasenda’s riotous London gig

Photographer Michele Baron captures the crowd at the Stockholm-based artist’s recent XOYO show

Namasenda’s unescapable sound is something of an earworm. Since dropping her debut mixtape, Unlimited Ammo, in 2021 you’ll no doubt have had bangers “Donuts” and the Joey Labeija-featuring “Finish Him” on repeat since.

The Stockholm-based former PC Music artist recently descended on London and unsurprisingly, her adoring fans – who crowded the stage at XOYO – are just as eclectic and experimental with their style as she is. Bouncing from cutesy Kawaii girls to neon ravers with plenty of Y2K throwbacks – the showgoers were captured by photographer Michele Baron as they screamed the house down. Elsewhere, the star of the show herself appeared in a oversized red cape look, straight out of the year 3023.
