Looks like sarky 90s teen slasher Scream could be close to the top of Marc Jacobs’ list, since the designer just tapped Neve Campbell – aka the blood-drenched protagonist Sydney Prescott herself – to star in a new zine dropping just in time for the best holiday of the year, Halloween. Lensed by upstart auteur Harmony Korine – of must-watch Gummo, Spring Breakers, and Trash Humpers fame – and styled by Danielle Emerson, the zine sees Campbell slip into a black dress and towering Kiki boots from Jacobs’ AW23 ready-to-wear collection and station herself next to a stuffed dog and a set of weights in a dingy, low-lit room with shag pile carpet. Landing hot on the heels of a similarly spooky Donnie Darko Heaven capsule, 300 editions of the printed mag will be given away free at Marc Jacobs stores in NY, Miami, and LA, as well as online.
