Models hit bootcamp on the brand’s 50th birthdayPhotographer Kayla Connors and stylist Joe Lokko capture an unruly scene for Dazed's Autumn issue, with the help of Timberland’s iconic boot collectionShareLink copied ✔️October 20, 2023FashionAutumn 2023 issueTextElliot HostePhotographyKayla ConnorsStylingJoseph LokkoDazed autumn 2023 – Timberland For our autumn 2023 issue, Joe Lokko and Kayla Connors have captured an all too classic case of Models Behaving Badly. These tearaway clotheshorses should be taking on a series of intensive bootcamp sessions in honour of our sturdy soldier, the classic Timberland boot – now hitting its 50th milestone birthday – but alas, they’ve all gone AWOL. Some have taken over the library, chucking reams of paper and messing up the Dewey Decimal System; others are looking bored in the dining hall, guzzling champagne with their boots up on the table; even more have escaped to the grassy lawns, lazing about in huge Joe Lokko creations, shirking all responsibility as they twiddle their thumbs. Don’t be fooled by the angel wings, cowboy hats and novelty maid outfits – they’re not supposed to be having fun. When we said bootcamp, this isn’t what we had in mind. Oh well – at least the Timbs look good.
