By this point, London Fashion Week has come and gone for another season, leaving us with memories of the weekend’s biggest fashion moments. In case you’ve already forgotten by now: Ashley Williams made her long-awaited return to fashion with a messy, ketamine-chic collection, JW Anderson kicked off his show with a series of playdough-sculpted hoodies and shorts, Di Petsa unveiled more of her signature, ethereal wet-look wear, and Talia Byre looked to sexy, witchy looks at her tiny Tenderbooks runway. Meanwhile, photographer Darrel Hunter immortalised some of LFW SS24’s hottest street style looks – from baggy Mowalola jackets paired with Bella Hadid-style glasses to patchwork hoodies repurposed as zipped-up maxi-skirts, shredded-up gothic dresses, and vintage JPG mesh long-sleeves paired with Chopova Lowena tops. Elsewhere, guests were captured wearing “I heart NY” tees reworked to read “I heart MY TITTIES & MY COCK”, chequered skirts slipped over matching trousers, and poofy green dresses layered-up like lettuce leaves. As for trends, in line with Simone Rocha’s girly, wedding cake-inspired runway, numerous showgoers were spotted topping off their lewks with ribbons of all shapes, colours, and sizes. Particularly, thin red ribbons were glued onto eyelids and looped onto earrings and braids, while huge yellow bows came tacked onto jumpers and black bows were stuck on each side of guests' hair.
